1. Who we are and what these terms cover

These terms govern the use of the game NOVA REGNUM, played in the browser at nova-regnum-game.web.app. By creating an account or playing you accept what follows. The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy & Cookie Policy.
2. The game
The game is free to play, with no advertising. An optional one-time purchase, the Admiral Edition, adds content when it is on sale (section 2-bis).
It can be played offline (without an account, against the AI or on the same device) or online with other players, which requires an account.
We may modify, update, suspend or discontinue the game (or individual features, including online play) at any time.
The content is fiction: factions, characters and events have no reference to real people, states or organisations. Alliances, treaties and betrayals in the Diplomacy module belong to the game and have no value outside it.
2-bis. Purchases: the Admiral Edition
The Admiral Edition is an optional one-time purchase, tied to your account and valid on every device where you sign in. It unlocks the Ferrum, Seliane and Vey factions, Campaign chapters II-VI, the Asymmetric rules, Co-op and the factions released later. The Standard game stays free and complete. In a game, it is enough for whoever creates it to own the Edition: guests can use its content in that game.
The price is the one shown in the game before paying and is the final price; there is no subscription. Prices may change for future purchases (founders' tiers: €4.99 for the first 500 purchases, €6.99 up to the 1,000th, then €8.99).
On the website the Edition is sold by Enrico Ascari (details in section 1) and paid with PayPal (PayPal account or card), under PayPal's terms. After paying you receive a confirmation email. For now it is on sale in European Union countries, the United States, Canada, Australia, Norway and Switzerland; from other countries the payment is not completed and nothing is charged. Inside an Android app installed from Google Play, the purchase uses Google Play billing, under Google Play's terms.
Right of withdrawal. The Edition is digital content supplied immediately. Before paying you are asked to tick a box by which you expressly request immediate supply and acknowledge that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal (Italian Consumer Code, Art. 59(1)(o)). Without that box the purchase cannot be made.
Guarantee and refunds. The legal guarantee of conformity always applies: if the Edition does not work as described and we cannot fix it, we refund you. Write to the email in section 1 with the PayPal transaction number. A full refund removes the Edition from the account. There are no refunds for having changed your mind after the immediate supply you requested.
Accounts created before sales opened receive the Edition free of charge, as a thank-you.
3. Account and conduct
You must provide an email address you control, and you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
It is forbidden to: use the game for unlawful purposes; try to access other people's areas or data; bypass the security measures or tamper with the game (client, server functions, game state); use bots or automated systems; deliberately block or sabotage shared games outside the rules.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. If you think a decision is wrong, write to the email above and we will review it.
In online games some of your data (nickname, commander symbol, statistics and game data) is visible to the other players. Behave fairly: you are responsible for what you choose to make visible. In particular your nickname must not be offensive, vulgar, misleading or infringe other people's rights; we may remove non-compliant names. Games inactive for 30 days are deleted automatically.
6. Limitation of liability
⚠ Clause requiring specific approval
The game is provided "as is", without any guarantee of continuous availability, absence of errors, permanent preservation of games and statistics, or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Owner is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the game, nor for any loss of games, statistics or data caused by malfunctions, updates or service interruptions.
The mandatory rights granted to the consumer user by applicable law, including the Italian Consumer Code, remain unaffected, as does the Owner's liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, for personal injury and in the other cases where the limitation is not permitted by law.
Under Articles 33 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005), the limitation of liability in this Article 6 requires, in relations with a consumer, a specific and separate approval distinct from the general acceptance of these terms. It is requested with a dedicated checkbox when you create the account. Without it the clause has no effect on you, while the other provisions remain valid.
7. Changes to the terms
The current version is always published on this page, with version number and date. Changes apply from publication; if they are significant, we will inform users and may ask them to accept them again.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
Italian law applies. For the consumer user the court of their place of residence or domicile in Italy has exclusive jurisdiction (Art. 66-bis Consumer Code); the mandatory rules of the consumer's EU State of residence remain unaffected. In all other cases the court of Modena has jurisdiction.

Questi termini regolano l'uso del gioco NOVA REGNUM, giocabile nel browser su nova-regnum-game.web.app. Creando un account o giocando accetti quanto segue. Il trattamento dei dati personali è descritto nella Privacy & Cookie Policy.
2. Il gioco
Il gioco è gratuito, senza pubblicità. Un acquisto unico facoltativo, l'Edizione Ammiraglio, aggiunge contenuti quando è in vendita (articolo 2-bis).
Si può giocare offline (senza account, contro l'IA o sullo stesso dispositivo) oppure online con altri giocatori, che richiede un account.
Ci riserviamo di modificare, aggiornare, sospendere o interrompere il gioco (o singole funzionalità, incluso il gioco online) in qualsiasi momento.
I contenuti sono di fantasia: fazioni, personaggi ed eventi non hanno alcun riferimento a persone, stati o organizzazioni reali. Alleanze, trattati e tradimenti del modulo Diplomazia appartengono al gioco e non hanno alcun valore al di fuori di esso.
2-bis. Acquisti: l'Edizione Ammiraglio
L'Edizione Ammiraglio è un acquisto unico facoltativo, legato al tuo account e valido su ogni dispositivo in cui accedi. Apre le fazioni Ferrum, Seliane e Vey, i capitoli II-VI della Campagna, le regole Asimmetriche, il Co-op e le fazioni che usciranno in seguito. La partita Standard resta gratuita e completa. In una partita basta che l'Edizione ce l'abbia chi la crea: gli invitati ne usano i contenuti in quella partita.
Il prezzo è quello indicato nel gioco prima di pagare ed è il prezzo finale; non c'è abbonamento. I prezzi possono cambiare per gli acquisti futuri (scaglioni dei fondatori: 4,99 € i primi 500 acquisti, 6,99 € fino al 1000°, poi 8,99 €).
Sul sito l'Edizione la vende Enrico Ascari (dati all'articolo 1) e si paga con PayPal (conto PayPal o carta), secondo le condizioni di PayPal. Dopo il pagamento ricevi una conferma via email. Per ora è in vendita nei paesi dell'Unione europea, negli Stati Uniti, in Canada, Australia, Norvegia e Svizzera; da altri paesi il pagamento non viene completato e non c'è alcun addebito. Dentro un'app Android installata da Google Play l'acquisto avviene con il sistema di pagamento di Google Play, secondo le sue condizioni.
Diritto di recesso. L'Edizione è un contenuto digitale fornito subito. Prima di pagare ti chiediamo di spuntare una casella con cui chiedi espressamente la fornitura immediata e prendi atto che così perdi il diritto di recesso (art. 59, comma 1, lett. o, Codice del Consumo). Senza quella casella l'acquisto non si può fare.
Garanzia e rimborsi. Resta sempre la garanzia legale di conformità: se l'Edizione non funziona come descritto e non riusciamo a correggerla, ti rimborsiamo. Scrivi all'email dell'articolo 1 con il numero della transazione PayPal. Un rimborso totale toglie l'Edizione dall'account. Non sono previsti rimborsi per un ripensamento dopo la fornitura immediata che hai chiesto.
Gli account creati prima dell'apertura delle vendite ricevono l'Edizione in regalo, come ringraziamento.
3. Account e condotta
Devi fornire un indirizzo email di cui hai la disponibilità e sei responsabile della riservatezza delle tue credenziali.
Devi avere almeno 16 anni per creare un account.
È vietato: usare il gioco per scopi illeciti; tentare di accedere ad aree o dati altrui; aggirare le misure di sicurezza o manomettere il funzionamento del gioco (client, funzioni server, stato di partita); usare bot o sistemi automatizzati; bloccare o sabotare deliberatamente le partite condivise al di fuori delle regole.
Possiamo sospendere o chiudere un account che violi questi termini. Se ritieni errata una decisione, scrivici all'email sopra: la riesaminiamo.
Nelle partite online alcuni tuoi dati (nickname, simbolo del comandante, statistiche e dati di partita) sono visibili agli altri giocatori. Comportati in modo corretto: sei responsabile di ciò che scegli di rendere visibile. In particolare il nickname non deve essere offensivo, volgare, ingannevole o lesivo di diritti altrui; possiamo rimuovere nomi non conformi. Le partite inattive da 30 giorni vengono eliminate automaticamente.
6. Limitazione di responsabilità

Il gioco è fornito "così com'è", senza garanzia di disponibilità continua, assenza di errori, conservazione perpetua delle partite e delle statistiche o idoneità a uno scopo particolare.
Nella misura massima consentita dalla legge applicabile, il Titolare non risponde dei danni indiretti, incidentali o consequenziali derivanti dall'uso o dall'impossibilità di usare il gioco, né dell'eventuale perdita di partite, statistiche o dati dovuta a malfunzionamenti, aggiornamenti o interruzioni del servizio.
Restano impregiudicati i diritti inderogabili riconosciuti all'utente consumatore dalla normativa applicabile, ivi compreso il Codice del Consumo, nonché la responsabilità del Titolare per dolo o colpa grave, per danni alla persona e negli altri casi in cui la limitazione non sia consentita dalla legge.
Ai sensi degli articoli 33 e seguenti del Codice del Consumo (D.lgs. 206/2005), la clausola di limitazione di responsabilità di questo articolo 6 richiede, nei rapporti con l'utente consumatore, un'approvazione specifica e distinta rispetto all'accettazione generale dei presenti termini. Ti viene richiesta con una casella dedicata alla creazione dell'account. In sua assenza la clausola non produce effetti nei tuoi confronti, restando valide le altre disposizioni.
7. Modifiche ai termini
La versione vigente è sempre pubblicata su questa pagina, con numero di versione e data. Le modifiche si applicano dalla pubblicazione; se rilevanti, ne daremo notizia agli utenti e potremo chiederne una nuova accettazione.
8. Legge applicabile e foro
Si applica la legge italiana. Per l'utente consumatore è competente in via esclusiva il foro del luogo di sua residenza o domicilio elettivo in Italia (art. 66-bis Codice del Consumo); restano salve le norme imperative dello Stato UE di residenza. Negli altri casi è competente il foro di Modena.
